The quilt shop LappeMakeriet organizes Block Exchange on a regular basis, visit their website for more information. There is a fixed block to be sewn, as well as a combination of fabrics that will be the starting point for the blocks you are sewing. You enter as many blocks as you want.
Denne gangen er det juletre som er blokken som skal syes. Stoffkombinasjonen over er det Trine som har valgt ut som et utgangspunkt for byttingen.
Så langt har jeg sydd disse 9 blokkene fra min egen stoffsamling, men jeg har ikke helt bestemt meg for hvor mange jeg skal bytte. Planen med disse er å kombinere dem med en tidligere blokk fra Blokkbytte, og sy et juleteppe av disse.
This time it's Christmas tree that's the block. The fabric combination above is Trine (at LappeMakeriet) which has chosen as a starting point for the Exchange. So far I have sewn these 9 blocks from my own stach, but I have not quite decided how many to entrer into the Block Exchange. The plan for all of these blocks are to combine them with a previous block from the Block Exchange, and sew a Christmas quilt of these.
